Artist’s projector mount for desktop, table or canvas or easel.
Enable artists to project images for tracing, copying, colouring in a variety of different sizes on horizontal or vertical surfaces.
We have pieced together a number of components to allow the projector to be mounted for many applications.
The kit contains the following
The rig will hold more than 2 kg weight with stability and will allow you to produce images in a variety of different sizes.
In the photos, the room light brightness is about 50:50 and we have used a 100 ANSI Lumens Byintek P7 projector. Using projectors with higher Lumen ratings will produce similar sized images, but the higher the ANSI Lumens, the clearer and more defined the image will be.
Photo 1 - the projector lens is 900mm above the table top producing an image size of 430mm x 780mm at 16:9 ratio
Photo 2 - the projector lens is 1300mm above the table top producing an image size of 430mm x 780mm at 16:9 ratio
The vertical stand clamps to the desktop with a separate clamp and is approx 75mm to the middle of the arm swivel. We have used a microphone boom and fitted it with a swivelling 1/4" camera thread on the end to attach the projector. The boom arm comes with a sandbag to stabilize it but it may not be needed. It will hold over 2kg so it should be quite stable.
The boom arm is extendable to 1450mm so you can produce a large image by adjusting it to your requirements.
The vertical pole also has a 1/4" thread that you can use if you want to project against a vertical canvas, for instance an easel.
The price includes standard postage within Australia.
