Mini Projector was founded in 2008 by Barry Shuttleworth to fill a void in the marketplace for portable and versatile presentations. The Visimax Mini LED Data Projector was the first addition to the range. Visimax is a low lumen pocket projector with limited functionality by today's standards but was one of the first pico projectors available and thus, Mini Projector was born.
Mini Projector leads the way with innovative technology suited to a wide range of wants and needs across a variety of sectors including business, education, hospitality and the Creative Arts.
Mini Data Projectors are described in many ways including pico projectors, pocket projectors, micro projectors, LED projectors, portable projectors amongst others. Mini Projectors can fit in your laptop bag, briefcase, handbag or even your pocket, making them the ultimate traveler’s companion.
Mini LED Projectors can connect to a wide range of devices with an AV output including Laptops, PCs, Smartphones, DVD & Blu-Ray players, Playstation®, X-Box® & Wii®, Macs, iPhones®, iPods®, iPads®, Tablets, Phablets and more, maximizing the ease and versatility of presenting & entertaining.
The range of inputs available on a Mini Projector include VGA, RCA Composite, HDMI and S-Video ensuring there will be an option to suit every need. Many HDMI inputs are now MHL enabled, (Mobile High-Definition Link) allowing direct HDMI cable connection to Android devices.
Mini Projector's range also allows for greater flexibility when presenting by removing the need for cords, cables and devices. Our SMART range of Mini Projectors have an on-board media player sourcing content from either on-board memory, USB devices, SD or Micro TF cards.
Many Mini and pocket projectors operate on internal rechargeable batteries further enhancing their portability, flexibility and convenience. External powerbanks are also available for most of our portable projector range. Remote controls make operation of your mini projector a breeze.
Many of our pocket projectors, pico projectors and portable projectors are also capable of WiFi connection via WiFi dongles including Apple TV, EZCast and Chromecast. Some mini LED data projectors have their own proprietary dongles including some which offer multi-device connection. Technologies utilised include Miracast, DLNA, EZAir, and others.
Mini LED Data Projectors also get a GREEN tick due to their low power usage and 20,000+ hour light-source life, meaning you'll never have to change a bulb! No warm up or cool down time required either.
